OVERVIEW

The Sunny Cup + Applicator is the first reusable menstrual cup that inserts like a tampon. After raising its first round of investment, Sunny hired Plus4 to drive awareness for its presale campaign. Additionally, the brand wanted to highlight its LGBTQ+ inclusive approach to menstrual care.

To help Sunny accomplish both of its goals, Plus4 developed a PR strategy centered on earned media and influencer partnerships. Our strategy capitalized on the product’s unique innovation story while authentically connecting with underserved communities in menstrual care. We positioned Sunny as both a breakthrough product and an inclusive brand challenging traditional period care norms.
